The first day of the new year was spent at work and with my best friends. I was so sleepy during my opening shift as i was equipped with only about 3 hours of sleep. As soon as i logged out in the afternoon all i wanted to do was sleep... then i realized i missed my friends.
In all my haggardness, i went to Lyndy's house. Her fiance Donald was at there, too. Melissa, Lito and Arnel soon followed. It felt good to be surrounded by my favorite people on the first day of yet another beautiful year.

We had coffee and Conti's Moist Chocolate Cake as we talked about random stuff (as always). I am optimistic that good times like this will last throughout the year. :)
